Abstract
Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries have become popular recently by performing better than conventional batteries. With the advancements in battery technologies, the amount of energy stored by li-ion batteries increases, and important developments occur in control systems. In this article, temperature approaches to the design of advanced electrolyte solutions for Li-ion batteries, electrochemical and electrode effects are examined. As a result of the study, it was observed that the amount of energy stored by Li-ion batteries increased with the developments in battery technologies and that there were significant developments in control systems.
